About Holy Trinity Humanistic School

Holy Trinity Humanistic School is a Catholic Agency School under Holy Trinity Parish and operated by the Religious Family of the Incarnate Word in the Diocese of Vanimo. The school was founded back in 1964 by the Passionist lay and religious Missionaries in Baro as a Community School, and after 60 years, we are happy to count with a Primary School of 400+ students and a new Junior High School opening its first grades with 100 students.

Our
vision

The institute of the Incarnate Word has been in Vanimo, PNG since 1997 and with this school wants to offer catholic humanistic education. “The Humanistic school,” says Fr. Carlos Miguel Buela, our founder, “is dedicated specifically to the human formation, which is not a technical school that teaches students to use a machine or some technique, but rather it teaches man to be man; and once the youth has this formation, he is able to make choices.”[1]

Our School Experience

Humanism, a word that comes from “human,” means an ensemble of principles that tend towards man’s integral culture or education.

We want for our students the integral formation of the human person.
